Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives announced construction works within the Summer period

Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives starts construction works during the Summer period.

Concrete Rectification Work at the Water Villa Jetty

Commencing on 07 May 2022, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily. The work aims to avoid potential “concrete cancer” in the future. The work is set to be completed by 21 June 2022.

Throughout the course of the works, part of the jetty will be closed involving Lagoon Villas (118 – 156), Ocean Pool Villas (218 – 256) and Rockstar Villas (808 and 888) will not be available to accommodate guests.

Utmost efforts will be rolled out including buffering off of the area to minimize any disruption that might be audible to the remaining water jetty.

Shore Protection Project at the end of the Sandbank

The work should not be disturbing thanks to the 1.5 km distance between the end of our marvelous, long sandbank where the works will be carried out and the main island and overwater villas. There will be zero to minimal noise potentially noticeable to the guest. However, there will be movement of a barge, dredger and excavator bucket, as well as the use of a flashlight (at night only), which will be visible over the lagoon on the far shore of the sandbank. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2022.

Beach Bubble overnight experience will not be available for the new bookings from 05 May 2022 until further notice. All existing bookings will be honored. This decision was made after careful deliberation in order to limit any potential discontent of the guests staying in the Bubble from the perceivable sounds while the works are in progress.

Resort management would like to ensure you that the utmost attention and effort will be taken to minimize the amount of interference in the resort’s operations. The guests’ comfort remains resort’s highest priority at all times.
